Where opinions differ
| Topic | Favourable view | Reserved view |
|---|---|---|
| Performance | Everyday use is smooth and apps load slightly faster. | Expert Reviews measures the Galaxy S26 64 % faster and the iPhone 17 49 % faster in multi-core tests; BGR notes stutters with heavy multitasking. |
| Upgrade value | BGR sees a solid all-rounder at a fair price. | 9to5Google says it "probably could have been a software update" and is hard to recommend to anyone with a phone from the last two or three years. |
| AI features | Expert Reviews finds Gemini integration the most effective of its rivals. | BGR finds Gemini forced into the interface; 9to5Google is underwhelmed by some new tools. |
| Display | Excellent brightness and colours. | No LTPO panel, and 9to5Google found it set to 60 Hz by default. |
Verdict
The Pixel 11 is a very good phone for photography, battery life and long software support. But it is a small step over the Pixel 10, and the Tensor G6 still trails the competition. It makes most sense for people coming from an older phone, ideally when a discount appears.
