Launch details
Samsung's S95H went on sale on 30 June 2026 in 48, 55, 65, 77 and 83-inch sizes. Only the 55, 65 and 77-inch models use Samsung's QD-OLED panel; the 48 and 83-inch versions use a WOLED panel, so their picture can differ. TechRadar listed it at around $2,100 in its August selection and gave it five stars.
What reviewers agree on
- Brightness: FlatpanelsHD measured 2,704 nits on a 10 % window and 458 nits full-screen, with "beautiful SDR and HDR".
- Anti-glare screen: the improved matte coating is described as exceptional at removing reflections.
- Gaming: four HDMI 2.1 ports, 4K at up to 165 Hz and 10.7 ms of input lag at 4K 60 Hz.
- Processing and support: strong upscaling and noise reduction, and a seven-year commitment for Tizen updates.
- Overall: TechRadar calls it "one of the best OLED TVs" it has tested.
Where opinions differ
| Topic | Favourable view | Reserved view |
|---|---|---|
| Matte screen | Almost no reflections, ideal for bright rooms. | Blacks look slightly raised (greyish) when there is light in the room. |
| HDR formats | HDR10+ and strong tone-mapping. | No Dolby Vision or DTS; dynamic tone-mapping can over-brighten content. |
| Software | Seven years of Tizen updates. | Concerns about advertising inside the Tizen interface. |
| Design | Slim, premium finish. | FlatpanelsHD expects the design to divide opinion. |
Verdict from FlatpanelsHD: "Highly Recommended", an excellent all-round TV.
Verdict
The S95H is one of the best TVs you can buy for a bright living room, for films and for gaming. If you watch a lot of Dolby Vision content, or mainly in a dark room, compare it with an LG or Sony OLED first. Check which panel your chosen size uses before buying.
