Two kinds of reviews
Review roundups, our most common format, analyse tests published by specialist outlets: we do not test the product ourselves, and every roundup says so. Hands-on reviews are published only when we have physically used a product; they state for how long and in what conditions.
How a review roundup is built
We select at least two independent, recognised reviews of the exact model, read them in full and extract the verifiable facts: price, release date, measurements and scores. Prices and dates are cross-checked. When outlets disagree, we show both views or leave the figure out.
What we compare
Depending on the product: performance, battery life, screen, camera, sound, comfort, connectivity, software support, privacy, repairability, warranty, energy use and total cost of ownership.
Scores
We report other outlets’ scores exactly as they published them, with their name. We do not invent a RealDigitalTech score for a product we have not tested.
Prices and markets
Unless stated otherwise, prices are launch prices in the United States. Prices, taxes and availability vary by country, so always check them locally before buying.
Health, safety and cars
For health devices we state the regulatory status reported by the sources and distinguish medical measurement from wellness features. For safety products we name the certifications (for example UL 217, EN 14604, UL 2034). Car prices and incentives are given with the market concerned.
Recommendations
Each verdict explains who the product suits, who should wait or avoid it, and which alternatives deserve a look.
Images
Article banners are graphics created by RealDigitalTech, not product photos. Manufacturer images are used only when their terms allow editorial use, with a credit. We do not reuse photos from review sites.
